The value for money at the cottage was excellent, and the room was cozy and comfortable. The location was perfect, with two pubs within walking distance, and we enjoyed exploring the quiet village and seeing the alpacas and peacocks. The staff at the cottage were wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay.
The hotel breakfast could have been improved with some larger platters or bowls for serving salads and nibbles.

I enjoyed the "complimentary" WiFi, as it worked about as well as a hamster on a wheel. The private parking was great too, as long as you don't mind parking at a 45-degree angle.
Who needs accurate directions? Getting lost in the middle of nowhere is so much more fun!

Loved the location, nestled in a charming village with easy access to stunning Peak District walks. the cottage itself was spacious, with ample off-road parking - a rare find in this area. the kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare our own breakfast and enjoy meals together.
The lack of cleanliness, with some crumbs left on the chopping board and cooker. It would have been nice to have some instructions about the heating system and local facilities.

The location of the cottage was perfect, with easy access to the small town's amenities and two lovely pubs nearby. The quaint and nicely decorated interior added to the overall charm. The cleanliness was excellent, and the beds and sofas were comfortable. Additionally, the cottage provided spacious rooms and great parking facilities.
One negative aspect was the lack of outdoor space to sit or eat.

We enjoyed the peacefulness of the quiet village and the opportunity to spot alpacas and peacocks during our morning dog walks. the cottage was cosy and traditional, with comfortable sofas and a great table for enjoying breakfast together.
It would have been even better if there was a wash hand basin in the en suite.
